The PTR100-T Inline Refractometer, marketed under the Prismatech brand, is designed and manufactured to measure and control concentration levels in industrial tanks.
The sensor unit is installed directly on industrial tanks and continuously measures the desired parameters in real time. In addition to displaying the measurement results, the device transmits analog output signals to other connected equipment.
With the multiple outputs and transmitter features available, users can also perform various control operations directly through the device.
Similar to other models in the series, the PTR100-T can be installed on tanks and features a PID controller with dual units for controlling both temperature and concentration. Through the USB port, users can transfer stored data—in image or CSV (Excel) format—to a computer or mobile device.
The built-in data logger can store more than 6,000 samples at user-defined intervals. The measurement accuracy of this device is ±0.1% Brix, with a Brix range of 0 to 100 Brix and a refractive index range of 1.32500 to 1.540000.
Digital inline refractometers, also known as digital Brix meters, operate using an LED light source that illuminates the sample placed on a prism. The refracted light is then detected by a sensor, which determines the angle of refraction.
