The BPTR100-HT high-temperature laboratory refractometer, under the PrismaTech brand, is manufactured in Iran using advanced technology and high-quality components. It is designed for measuring and displaying the concentration of both transparent and non-transparent solutions at elevated temperatures up to 80°C.
This device is used in research laboratories and quality control units of industrial factories. Ease of use, high accuracy, and reliable performance make this laboratory refractometer an ideal choice for manufacturing plants and research centers.
The BPTR100-HT laboratory refractometer measures the refractive index of light and, through precise calculations, determines the sample concentration in Brix (°Bx) and refractive index (nD) units. This model is suitable for a wide range of applications, including the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, beverage, and hygiene industries.
It is specifically designed to measure the Brix and refractive index of high-temperature liquids in the range of 5°C to 80°C. The device is equipped with an automatic temperature control system using a Peltier module, which can quickly bring the sample to the standard temperature and perform the measurement at that precise temperature.
Digital refractometers or digital Brix meters operate using an LED light source that illuminates the sample placed on the prism. The light passing through the sample is refracted by the prism and then detected by a sensor, which measures the angle of refraction.
Since the refractive index depends on temperature, the device automatically applies temperature compensation through built-in algorithms and converts the measured value to a refractive index or other specific parameters.
Compared to similar instruments, digital refractometers offer advantages such as ease of operation, automatic temperature compensation, and adjustable measurement ranges.
