The PTMag electromagnetic flow meter, marketed under the brand name PrismaTech, is an excellent choice for measuring the flow of all electrically conductive liquids, purees, and slurries.
This flow meter can be used in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, as well as in paper manufacturing, steel production, power generation, and mining applications.
In general, this flow meter can measure the flow of fluids with a minimum conductivity of 5 µS/cm and a maximum solid content of up to 40%.
The device consists of a sensor unit made of 304 stainless steel for measurement and a transmitter unit with an anodized aluminum body designed to calculate and display flow values in real time with excellent precision.
This model features a 128×64 pixel LCD display with touch proximity keys mounted directly on the sensor, allowing real-time display of measurement results.
In addition, the measured data can be transmitted through the system’s output ports either digitally (RS485) or in analog form (0/4–20 mA) to a local controller such as a PLC.
